手工製造風格的作品

Here is the project I recently worked on. Naneu Pro is a camera bag manufacture located in Orlando. In my Advanced Graphic Design class we were to design a product brochure and a series of ad campaign for it.

I always tend to add some handmade, personal style in to design projects. In this case I did all the hand-lettering for the ad campaign; "traveler's scrapbook and journal" style for the brochure design.

我一直很喜歡在設計中加入一些手工的、較具個人色彩的元素，在設計界近來也很流行回歸手工時代，那種不若電腦軟體製造出來那麼乾淨俐落，有點髒髒的，破破的，不太完美但是很有個性的設計風格。像是絹印、剪紙、拼貼、塗鴉或是手寫字，都是常被應用在設計裡的技法。(雖然最後還是都在電腦裡完成，但是就是要製造出一種手工的效果。)

最近我就很喜歡手寫字的設計，不管是在紙上用筆畫草稿，再用Illustrator完成，或是直接用Wacom繪圖板在Photoshop裡面手寫，手寫字那種獨一無二，帶有個人風格的味道，總是讓我很欣賞。

這裡的三件作品是學校的系列廣告設計作業，客戶對象是一家在Orlando的相機收納包的廠商，也是我們教授工作的廣告公司的客戶。老實說，我對廣告並不是很有興趣，因此每次做廣告作業都像是對大腦的酷刑。但是這個案子我決定加入手繪的元素，用旅行者的筆記塗鴉的風格來表現，三則廣告分別是以城市、著名景觀和國家，來襯托三種不同功能的相機/筆記型電腦背包。

在設計系列廣告之前，我們先設計了商品的目錄，老師要求我們要做出不同於傳統單調純粹介紹商品的目錄，並且要加入公司的簡介、歷史和攝影師小傳。

我利用照片、手繪、手寫拼貼出攝影師/旅行者手記的形式，來設計這本商品目錄。也因而誕生了後來延續類似風格的三則系列廣告。

Hi pc,

thank you for stopping by. i love scrapbooking! too bad i don't have time to do it now...but if there is a chance i'd love to design digital scrapbooing kits. it sounds really fun!
