Something I learn from Jeanne Moreau
I was listening to Jeanne Moreau's interview on the radio when I was driving home today. Her recent film "Cet Amour-Là" is going to have DVD version released. Her role in this movie as the French writer Marguerite Duras, who had writer's block and became an alcoholic in her last years life, until she met her young lover Yann Andrea. Can't wait to see this movie.
In the interview, Moreau talked about her career, her childhood, her life and the relationships with famous French directors, such as Louis Malle, François Truffaut, etc.. I was fascinated by her rusty and charming voice, and her conversations with the Hostess was also very interesting.
French actresses generally seem to have a kind of quality which is intellectual and sophisticated. Moreau is 77 year-old and she is living in Paris along. The Hostess asked her, "What is so great about living along? Moreau answered, "The freedom to ask someone to share my solitude." Very nice!
I wish when I am 77 (if I could live that long) I could have the courage to live in that kind of life style, confidently and independently. She is still beautiful because of the glory of the confidence and intelligence. It's the most precious gift that women can have and keep with until the end of their lifes.
(Pictures are from "cet amour-la" the official website: http://www.cetamourla-lefilm.com)
Thanks for the tip. I'll have to check out the DVD.

也許不是叫freedom,而是自在萬有的喜悅空性.......
處在裡頭,雖獨一無二,卻又圓滿瀟灑恬靜無限.......

人生
是以時間為軸的積分
從開始到結束
每一段都很重要
